You are your best resource. Seriously:) Listen to your body and be real about your needs. Sleep, take a good multivitamin, Supplement w/ some B-Complex, and get some form of exercise everyday. Surround yourself w/ positive people. Do puzzles for your mental sharpness.

You may just be exceeding your RAM limits for the games you are using.

Vista Home Premium requires 512 MB of RAM to run correctly (less will run but will not support all applications). Your game may require more than you have installed, so check your game instructions to see how much RAM is required (or recommended).

If it appears you have adequate RAM for your games, your RAM may be failing. If you have more than one stick of RAM, try using only one stick at a time and see what reaction you get. You may be able to find the bad stick this way. Also, are your sticks "matched", meaning they are the same size, speed and brand? Different size (even brand) RAM sticks sometimes are not compatible, especially under extreme conditions.

If everything checks out with your RAM, you may have a graphics card problem. But I am fairly certain it is your RAM.

I tried rosetta stone for Spanish. It does not have any translation, grammar or conjugation instructions so it will be very hard to go beyond the basics with it. It is good for the basics as it is pure memorization. There is no way to be fluent with it. Their program is based on the same thing where you see these 4 pictures over and over again. I was disappointed especially for the price I paid.

My college uses another software: tell me more. My goal was to become fluent so it was perfect for me and I bought their individual version. It has a lot of different activities: picture/word association, videos, dialogues,..., includes also grammar and conjugation. It has also more content than any other language software. Their speech recognition is great so you can have a dialogue with the computer. You can contact them to get a free demo and also ask for a Rosetta Stone demo to compare, visit independent reviews websites(About.com, ...).

The best way to learn a language would be through immersion, visiting these countries. Learning a language will require some time. In addition to software, you can have books which are useful as well. Audio CDs like Pimsleur for instance might help you out but you cannot get any feedback on your pronunciation so I did not like it so much

The best way to learn another language is to stick with it day and night for many years. It is the only way that really works.A little bit of a number of languages serves no purpose. Few will understand you and you will understand no one.

Omega-3 fatty acids are supposedly good for the brain- found in nuts and fish. Brain exercises could include: crossword puzzles, sudoku, chess, logic puzzles, riddles, or math problems.
